This is only the latest round of PSA’s produced by the PMVB in partnership with health systems in the Poconos

In November, the Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau restarted its PSA campaign along with Lehigh Valley Health Network — Pocono and St. Luke’s University Health Network — Monroe Campus. The PMVB is also working with Wayne Memorial Health System to develop PSA’s.

The campaign includes digital and social media assets as well

These :15 and :30 spots have been utilized on local broadcast affiliates’ air, Pocono Television Network (24/7) and on social media. The ability to encourage the public to follow these important public health measures should help emphasize the need to collectively prevent the spread of coronavirus and help our region stay healthy and stay open.

Our Pledge. Our Promise.

The Pocono Promise was developed to simplify the process by which businesses and organizations can learn about the proper public health guidelines and protocols and voluntarily pledge to uphold them at their places of business.

This not only should provide peace of mind for guests and patrons, but also for employees and residents in the community on the whole. So far, 277 businesses and counting have signed the promise.

Physical signage was also developed and distributed to community partners throughout Wayne, Pike, Monroe and Carbon counties.

These signs have been posted at visible locations throughout hundreds of businesses in the Poconos

What’s been done.

The Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau has produced dozens of PSA’s on various public health topics ranging from masking to social distancing as well as messaging to various demographics. The hospitality and tourism industry also benefited from the reopening resources provided here.
